78 restoration

I am going to begin restoring a 78 f-250 4x4. Asking for help in the way of body parts as far as where to buy and the good and the bad of aftermarket fenders, doors, beds, and hoods. I have several books and magazines from different distributors, just wanting to find out how some others have dealt with these companies (LMC, NPD, Bronco Graveyard) and if there is more out there. Also being in northwestern indiana looking for good performance shops for engine and transmission rebuilding. Any information will be very much appreciated. Thanks again

Dennis Carpenter is good stuff. LMC is cheap and thin.

I might have bed for you...no floor just the sides, inners and bracing...not ripped apart. It is by no means perfect but it would depend on how much work you are willing to put into it.
