Lockouts

I have a question that you all may have seen a hundred times, I'm sorry but i don't know much about getting around these forums.
I have put 90k on my truck but two days ago my front end made a bad noise and I had no four wheel drive and it turned out to be the Warn lockout on the passenger side. Last night the same side did the same thing why would my lockouts be shredding? I'm in missouri so i have been using my 4x4 in and out based on where i am driving but leaving the lockouts locked most if not all the time.

Two words... AGE and NO LUBRICATION. Both will break down even the best components.

I was just looking up 4x4 issues.

It seems there is a huge problem with the F250 & 350's.

my 03 f250 still working good at 194,000 thousand,dut i sprayed the hubs alot with p-b blaster and engage them at regular in.tervals
