The #30 fuse under the dash provides the power for the ignition switched power to the PCM and IDM relays. The #24 fuse under the hood provides the supply to the PCM and IDM. The PCM supplies the ground to energize the IDM and FP relays. I went ahead and replaced the fuel heater in case it was causing a voltage drop that was "kicking out" the relays. It's hard to say what actually caused the problem since it hasn't reoccurred and I haven't had time to check it any further.
Hey Frank, ever find a resolution to your problem? Did you ever get a fuel pressure gauge hooked up? Mine has graduated on to feeling like a miss, except there is no rhyme or reason to it. Seems completely sporadic. I finally broke down and got AE, have run all kinds of tests. Everything is spot on, which is good. Plumbed in a mechanical fuel pressure gauge, looks like I have an issue. With the gold spring in the FPR I'm seeing 54-58 psi and it's choppy. Only moving about 1 psi, but bouncing nonetheless. Kill it and the gauge slams to 0 almost instantly. So I went for the easy fix and got a kit from Bob to rebuild the FPR. Worked on it last night, went for a run, no change whatsoever. Bummer. Gonna fiddle with it some more this wknd if I get time. Anyway, that's where I'm standing thus far.
