I have a 94 f250 super cab auto 4x4. Earlier this week the u-joint on the ft drive shaft at the t-case came loose and the loose drive shaft did some pretty amazing damage to my floor right next to the t-case shifter hole. What I am planning to do is cut out the damaged sheet metal and replace it with the same piece cut out of a 89 f350. I was wondering if the floor and trany tunnel on the 89 are the same as the 94, and if it matters that the 89 is a regular cab. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

 

you could make a cardboard template to be sure (also good idea so you can trace out what you need to cut). but if your getting that involved, i think you should be able to handle a few tweaks.
