Superchips? Glowplug problems!
Hey guys, In an earlier thread i asked for help on what to do for upgrades such as axles and filters. I forgot to mention that the guy i got the truck from has a superchip on the truck now and he gave me the programmer so i can easily take it off. I just need the pro's feed back. as well as one other thing i am trying to get valve covers off to replace glow plugs and the passenger side seems to be sticking as if i missed a bolt but i felt around and cant feel anything. Driver side im having a problem getting the back bolt up by the fire wall and suggestions?

You've got to cuss and yell at that back bolt a bunch before you can finally get the socket lined up right on it. I used to be able to get that every time, but the last time I pulled a valve cover nothing seemed to fit. Try different short extensions and a swivel joint on your socket.
For the passenger side, run your finger around the valve cover and check for the bolt you missed.

For the pass side. Remove the foil from the heater box and remove two bolts that hold the little black box the heater box. With the little box out of the way the VC slides right out. Just a little FYI.
