Quick FICM Questions

FICM checked good, 48.7vlts. Fuel Filters looked brand new. Oil rough lookin! It has been starting better recently, I am thinkin a bad load of fuel was causing my problems. Still doesnt explain the P0611 code!

P0611 is loss of FICM power or other internal FICM issue such as a RAM or ROM fault.

First thing to check will be the wire harness to the FICM. An intermittent short or loss of ground can trigger that code also and it is not at all uncommon to have wire chaffing near the driver side valve cover. What are you using to pull codes? Can you watch the various circuits in realtime as you drive or simply run the vehicle?

I am just using my Banks PDA, so I dont think that I can monitor in realtime! It just tells me codes. I will check the wiring for chaffing next wkend, unless it fails before than! I already talked to Swamps and will prob order the 58vlt in a couple weeks! I am just trying to justify replacing a 800$ part that "checked" good. Thanks for all the help and suggestions!
