So, i need to get some extended brake lines to work with a 4" suspension lift for my 88 bronco II...anyone here using the braided stainless steel lined from james duff? I thought they sounded like good parts at a decent price...any input? Also, i read that they are a smaller diamiter than stock for better pedal feel or something...does that affect braking performance or anything?
I run the ones from James Duff all around in both my B2 and 1970 Bronco and I really like them and have never had any problems with them. A great upgrade from the stock lines.
yup...i bought the ones from james duff...i think they are made by earl....decently priced also. But i am a little concerned about the smaller diamater of these lines, can that be an issue or a bad thing?
So far so good. I have been running them for 5 year snow and have been on many trails rated 7 or higher (Rubicon, Deer Valley, Slick Rock). You might have to zip tie them (loosely) to your front coils if you run coils or a part of the body so they don't get snagged, but this optional.
