i talked them down to 18500....the lighting has already ejected 2 spark plugs on me so....?

And yes mod motors are notorious for spitting spark plugs in the number 3 and 4 cylinders....which makes doing the timesert a pain in the ***!!!!
Just out of curiousity......what are some common 4x4 problems with these truck? Are they prone to transfercase failure or electronic switch failure?

Mine is doing it with about 10k worth of steel and rubber wrapped around it.
Just the early ones if I am not mistaken.
Lack of use can lead to leaks to where it won't engage. Always want to try to engage the ESOF once a month(at least I try to anyway).

Thanks tex! When you say "leads to leaks" are you refering to the transfer case? Is there a selanoid or module that engages the 4x4? that could go out?

Typically it's a vacuum leak that happens when it isn't used that often.
