Does it do anything or do you think it's doing anything?
I think it's worth it... clatter is gone some, but I have other things making too much noise to really tell. The HPx made a world of difference in how smooth it was, especially at idle. The FRx gave me more low-end torque than I had so I know that was worth it...

Thank you for your opinion, I've heard mixed reviews
Dan got the same set up from my neighbor. He went banks and said I could have for $25. Had to buy. How tight did you make the fitting on the block. They have o-rings I think, do you put ten lbs or so or real tight. Your help would be appreciated, Chet KCN SS

It helps balance out the oil pressure in the heads. It is not something you will see or feel necessarily, but you may be able to hear that the idle is smoother and quieter depending on the truck. When I installed mine it seemed to be smoother, but maybe I was just thinking that to justify the purchase
Without some test equipment to measure the before and after, it is hard to really define the difference.

The fittings in the head do not need to be super tight. The o-rings provide the seal and if over torqued, they can deform and leak. As far as the tube fittings I tighten them by hand, then an additional 1-1/2-2 turns. The flare-less ferrule on the tube can be damaged from over tightening.
Ken thanks for the reply. I figured as much but I have a tendency to over torq things so I hope I do it right. I'm also puting on a t.5 HPOP since my e99 has a 15.
