HPX helps even the oil pressure between the heads. I'm just having an issue with the hpop line fitting I moved to install the hpx line now. Oring is seeping. It needs to be replaced with a straight fitting instead of the 90. It gets moved ahead one spot on the head and the hpx goes where it was and the 90 doesn't work well there. Travis got me set straight on that. It is a good worthwhile mod. Dieselsite carries one as well as the stat, I just run a 195. The straight fitting does not come with the hpx, you'll have to get it at a hydraulic shop or something. Mine worked ok for 6-7k with a new oring, now needs replacing so getting a straight fitting. I think there is a short and long stem stat for different years, make sure its the right one. Don't know about the holddown.

Brakes are great! New rotors/pads last year, now the rears with new drums! You're right it usually doesn't pay to hurry. At least you found your problem.

Its the other way around, the 94's and maybe 95's had the 203's and 96 and up had the 195's I believe.

I ramble a little bit every now and then Glenn. Was online quite a bit yesterday. I think Glenn's right on the stat numbers. The reason he mentioned is why I run the 195.
