will do..mine aint as bad since i tightened the liftbrackets on the i beams too.. so i would suggest to long79crew to try that as well...

uh-oh!!!??

thats a new one on me, ill have to find this pivot bushing!!!!........might be quicker if you told me where its at and what it looks like though this smiley board is neat!!

Its the round red thing kinda in the middle there, on the inner end of the driver side beam. There will be 2 of them, the one you see here, and another in the same location on the pass side beam.

These trucks did this when they were new, maybe just not as bad as they do when older. Mine has always done it, even when everything was rebuilt.

My trucks 2wd and lifted and doesnt do that. It moves very little when reversing and pulling forward.

great, im looking for a sway bar setup, and ill throw those bushings in the mix as well.....maybe ill get that done in a month or two, im a trucker, ill have to plan for these things.....ill repost the results....thx

Awesome ive been having this prob on my 94. It has 6 inch skyjacker and 4 inch body lift. On 37 12.50 mtr's. Its bad enough to Where its only sits on the very edge of the tires. Thanks alot ill try it out

Solid axle fixes this problem permanently.

One of the reasons (along with others) I went with the solid axle; but to some, its not worth the work.

You can, you just have to modify the engine crossmember.

I cut a slit in mine for the track bar, and another piece out for the hog head, but I will never bottom mine out. I am running 6" spring on 89 coils buckets, so I have 8" of lift. and I am not dune jumping.
