that map is only listing the large buildings...greenbachers dairy farm lost their calf barn, killed one calf. numerous horse barns and indoor riding rings have collapsed, i know of a vacant shop in north guilford on 77 that went down, brick building on route 80 next to the hydraulic shop is nothing but rubble, and i have lost count of all the sheds i see flattened.
Good Morning, Guess I have to shovel again today, Good customers barns coming down and his tractors inside and won't start. Looks like it will definitely come down with any more weight on it. he lost one horse shed/ run in the other day. Also one of his houses built in the early 1800's is pretty risky. fun fun.
playing with tractor hydraulics.....we are experiencing a pressure relief valve problem. it is not releiving pressure at all and will just about stall the engine if you arent using hydraulics. probably some part made in germany is at fault, just like the deutz engine/bosch starter that failed us this morning and cost ray a million dollars.
things are only breaking because there is snow on the ground and more coming and its cold. if it was a nice spring day everything would work marvelously.
I am going to have a hard time plowing the driveway with all the ice still on it.
Maybe it will all be rain and wash it all away.
I went to a self car wash today with the truck to take a few of the layers off.
I just could not stand it ant more.
I need to do the same thing, Andy. With the wide front end on the 450, the front of the body is caked with about 3" of ice.
Tonight I was at my sister and brother-in-law's to have dinner, then I came home and put my saws back together. My good friend got a chain saw sharpener for Christmas, and he came over a few weeks ago and asked if he could sharpen mine. So I took them both apart and cleaned them while he sharpened the chains. I finally finished the job tonight.
I am picking up a ballast box tomorrow. Lately I have been having trouble plowing ice with no rear weight. I am looking to do something similar to this, but maybe I'll just leave it empty and just add weight when I need it. It's a toss up. At least then I could empty it and carry stuff in it if I needed to.
