Interior Vs. Exterior Paint

What are your opinions on interior Vs. Exterior paint? Same color? Totally different? Complimenting?

I hate to start one direction just to have to strip it off because I didn't think about it enough.

I personally like one color inside and out. One reason is I just like it. The other reason is you have to be careful in how you layout the paint. The exterior color has to flow pretty far into the door jambs because if it doesn't it will show up looking like you pinstriped around the doors. Too far in and you'll get the same effect from the inside.

That being said, there is a guy on the HAMB building a modified '48-50 truck that I really like and I don't normally like over modified trucks. He has a contrasting interior that really make the interior pop:

Chevys of this era had two different colors, gold on the interior and whatever body color on the outside.

Well there is a reason to stay with same color inside and out
I would be more for the same color, but the one in the picture does look sharp.
What if you did mostly the same color, but had some trim pieces a complimentary color, maybe to match your seat.

I like the same or similar color inside....but you can also add an accent color too. I used one of the flame colors...
May also use 2 colors for the upholstery. My dash isn't quite as fancy as a 59 Chev

I went with a flat light gray to contrast the red.

Well that could change my mind about staying with a single color. Very nice.

So now you seem to have been given about every option as the way to go.
It really boils down to what you think looks the best.
Can't wait to see what you decide and how the finished product looks.

TLB, I like the color combo, and the door pockets.

I prefer the same color inside with some contrasting colored accents.
