NP435 shifter

So...I a thinking of getting another truck...79 F-150 supercab. It has the granny tranny in it, but I have always hated those shifters. I posed this question on the 80-86 section, and got nothing, so I figured I would ask you guys. Anyone make a different shifter for these transmissions? Maybe something shorter, bent different, and chrome?

If you want it different, shorten it, bend it and chrome it.............

google "gear bender" its a remote mount shifter type deal and it's the only thing I've ever seen aftermarket for a np435 shifter

I used a mid-80s T19 shifter in my conversion. The bend makes way more sense than the 73-79 T18 handle. I'm sure the 80-86 NP435 is the same way.
