I hope we don't get hit hard, but I am preparing as if we will.

Andie and Kim sure are funny names for trucks!

We're due for 12-14" here. The sleet and ice are beating the windows so hard I keep having to turn the TV up. I swung into the Wallymart on the way home from work to pick up some stuff for the kids to eat since school will no doubt be cancelled and it looked like armageddon. Not a loaf of bread or gallon of milk left in the joint and people were completely freaking out. Apparently the police had been there to break up a couple fights right before I showed up. Sheesh. It's just a little snow, people. Luckily, the mom and pop grocery in my little town hadn't been raided yet. I wish I could get away with calling off work tomorrow. I'm not afraid of the snow. I just hate dealing with other people out in it.

Maybe a visit this summer on my way down to Edwardsville to visit my daughter. Been down there a couple of times recently, but always in a hurry to get there.

She graduates in May, so hopefully I can make progress on the truck since I should have extra money now!

The trip to Galesburg is so much nicer now with four lane all the way!

I was hoping this one would slide below us but we're headed for 12-20 inches today and tomorrow here in Northern New Hampshire...

Erie PA - We got about 5-8 inches overnight - That was the first round - Tonight thru Wed night we could get 1/4 in Ice to 28 inches of snow
I'm gonna clear the drive, go get some food and hunker down - Don't really have to be anywhere until June 15th.

looks like winter outside to me, I don't see what the big deal is.They are wrong so often that I have pretty much lost faith in any weather prediction other than looking out the window. Besides, I bought a 10KW generator last fall so I know my power won't go out. (Murpheys law in reverse)

Keep an eye on the weather scene acros the states . Feel for all who have to endure the cold and snow . It is like some else that eats and doesn't work . Some thing to take up your valueable time . Was 78 here Mon and near 80 today . Great weather for the World Series of Asphalt at New Smyrna Speedway and Daytona . GO _ PACK _GO !!!!!!!!!!

Well at 1PM Central we are at 9.5 inches. The snow didn't start until 6AM this morning. So we are getting about 1 and a third inches an hour.

Working from home today. When I get off, I might have to go out and wander through it a bit....

Cool pic, I hope to have some later today or tomorrow morning. Our snow didn't get revved up (doesn't that word make this a truck thread?) until about 11:30.

Just commenting about it as in not whining as this is one of the biggest I have been through. "They" say about 18 to 24 inches. Reminds me of the time when I lived in Pa and over a 8 hour period we got about a foot plus of snow. It seemed like it all came down in one blanket.

This doesn't affect me much as I work from home so I make sure I have enough supplies and just wait it out. Still pretty interesting to watch.
