My auto 4x4 was working fine. I went thru some deep packed snow today. I went to use it tonight and not working. I can hear the transfer case shifting but no 4x4. I know the hubs work off vacuam. Could I have broke something like a hose or line? How do they run? What to look for? Try to look tomarrow.
On my 2010 I had the same problem when driving through a couple feet of snow, when I crawled under my truck there was a vacuum hose handing on the driver side in front of the axle tube....it looked like a check valve right there that it plugged into.
Thanks guys. I put the hubs in lock for now. Weather permitting I will try looking under it Sunday. I guess it would be a small vacuam line? Is it by the brake line?

There are a few connections, the one that came unhooked on mine was about 18 inches toward the center of the truck from the driver's side hub. I also saw a connector right at the hub as well....I didn't look closer as I had already found which one came unhooked. Total fix time was around 1 minute and 45 seconds of that was getting down under the truck. I was dreading the thought of having to take it in for a warranty repair, I'm glad it was an easy fix and I didn't have to go in.
mines a 99 and it just did the same thing. difference is that my light on my dash and my switch in my cab seem to be the culprit. is there a fuse or relay?
Well looked at ot and all hoses seem to be hooked up. What to check next? Everything works fine with hubs locked. 4x4 lights on and you hear it shift in the transfer case.
