i went to bts and got a tuner from them and had them put a valve body at the same time in the top setting on the tuner if i really hamer on it it will give me a serviece engine light but will go out after i take it easy for awhile it also chatters on the tune just the max tune I think its the wastegate and only when i hammer it they said that it was a overboost is this normal the truck runs great on all the tunes its a 01 f350 with straight pipe stock exhuast and a 6637 mod thanks sorry about all the rambling Shawn
search for the thread "MAP sensor..." it's an old thread, but it has new posts on it. I covered this pretty well just the other day on here. it sounds like your map sensor is defueling the injectors. when it sees boost over 22-23 lbs it makes the PCM defuel the injectors. the SES comes on briefly, then when boost returns to factory specks, the fuel kicks back in. search that thread. it also addresses wastegate. the thread starts out pretty confusing. skip down to my post...
That OBA Keith mentioned from RiffRaff diesel is a nice system. Its not gaudie looking, its a well planed out system that hooks up to your map sensor bolts for a clean under the hood look..and most importantly, it works, for fooling the higher boost pressures and keeping the truck from defueling when your at WOT...
