I recently purchased a new glove box door for my 01' f150. I then realized that I needed a special tool. I have used something to keep the light off until I figure out how to use this "special" tool.
Please advise
umm.... no. all you have to do is pull the 2 clips together at the top, the box will fall all the way forward, then you pull it up from the bottom. they have arc-hinges at the bottom.
i took mine out a couple years ago... seems like a phillips screwdrive for the door and maybe a pair of pliers ? The latch or light might be a little extra.

I have the glove box spring tool set. How in the heck do you use it? pics please
the special tool "glove box spring tool set" is fine if you are just taking the door off and putting it back off. I got a new door and am unable to open that spring what so ever. the bite that spring has is unreal.
