I was backing my drivers seat all the way back and the computer board came loose and lodged under the seat. Now the seat will not go forward and I can't take out the bolts to remove the seat to fix.
I tried to mess with it intact but there is no room to look at wires etc. I also want to take fix the leather on the seat and fix my butt warmer, but I need to find out how to move the seat forward enough to fix. I can hear clicking from somewhere like a solenoid when I hit the switch so it's getting power somewhere. Is there anyway to move the seat manually or maybe jump a wire to the motor under the seat?
You should be able to remove the four bolts that hold the seat to the frame. I had to do this when I could not access the 50T bolts that hold the seat frame to the car frame.
a fellow employee removed the front driver's seat to install a seat cover...don't ask...but now the seat wont go back and forth and the airbag light is on...note: the seats have airbags...2011 expedition...lil help???
