need help identifying front axle
I have a 73 F250 highboy with a front axle that appears to be a Dana 10 bolt pattern, closed knuckle with drum brakes. however the typical identifying marks are not matching up with the "de-coders" the long side of the axle tube has NO markings or date codes. there are no tags/data plates on the cover and there is no 60 or 44 stamped in the corners of the pumpkin just a single code in the left lower corner 446CF. the truck was used when I got it and I belive the front diff has been replaced, and there are different gear ratios between F/R. If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it.

Dana 44-6CF front driving axles were used in 1959/74 F100's & F250's. Different versions were offered: with/without free running hubs, 3M or 3.5M lb. front axle capacity.
I could find no reference for 44-6CF's after 1974...in the 1973/79 Ford truck parts catalog.
1959/74 F250: There was also several versions of the 44-6CF-HD. No parts catalog reference after 1974.
