460 engine problems

460 engine problems
My 88 F350 is not running right, first when you startedit, it would run for a couple seconds then cut off we put a new throttle postitioning sensor on it then put a mapp sensor and also a new cam sensor. now the truck will idle and rev up but back fires as soon as you let off of it and it runs rough if you hold it half throttle no buddy in the area can figure it out wondering if anyone knows of a fix

Where did you put this cam sensor?

You will have to do some test first but I would bet on a bad computer.

we did put a new computer on it and it did not help any the cam sensor went in the distibutor
