On my 97, that is now my parts truck, someone had spent 200 bucks, (previous owner) for a couple of fuel line magnets that are claimed to increase fuel mileage by up to 33% I think.
Well, I got bored a few days ago and took them off that truck and put them on my 94. The last owner must have really fallen for it because the website says you only need one for a diesel but he bought 2!!!
I was very skeptical at first. I just knew that by messing with the magnetic field in a fuel line about the best I could hope to accomplish was a plugged fuel line. Well I was wrong.
Normally I burn about a half tank a day in my truck driving my wife to work and back twice a day. This weekend I went two whole days on a half tank!!!! I'm just speechless. These things really work and I'm going to write the MFR and tell them so they can use what I say on their website too.
I'll just make sure to leave out the part about not driving it but one day this weekend. My wife was off sunday.
Jessuu.. RR.. You had me worried for a moment as I was starting to read what you were saying.. I was like "oh god no, dont tell me he fell for this".. Whew! LOL!
I needed a laugh today! yeah I know they were worthless but it was fun. I still can't believe the last owner paid for those though. He must have snuk them in on me because I'm the only one who ever worked on it for him.
