Anyone here using Quarterhorse or Tweecer....I am curious how you routed your USB cable from PCM to interior? Looking for ideas before I decide my permanent routing for my QH cable.
Also would be interested in starting a tuning thread if we have enough users.......talkin' specific to our trucks.
I ran it up underneath the dash over to the trans hump where it connects to the laptop on the center console when in use and coils on the floor when not.
Did you have to drill a hole somewhere to pull the cable through being that the pcm is slid into it's housing from the engine bay side? I can't seem to find anyway to get the cable out of the pcm housing area without punching a hole somewhere.
Do you think we will have enough users to have a tuning thread?
Oh.. I don't have that problem with my truck because the EEC is accessed from inside the cab, so yeah you're gonna have to drill a hole. I suggest drilling something bigger so you can get a rubber grommet around the cable.
A few more users wouldn't hurt but I suppose we can start a thread and post up some pics and stuff and maybe it'll get more people interested. What setup did you buy?
I am able to route cable from behind kick panel area....man it's way back up in there, but no hole drilling needed. I am making the final installation tonight.
