Actually i have a question about how i interface with it. See i am going to be buying a Tweecer for my truck, however i do not own a laptop. Seeing that i want the "Real Time" version of the tweecer, i would kinda need the laptop. Now i am not against buying a laptop, but this would be the only thing that i would use the computer for. So i got to thinking "What about those stereo's that have the big screens, and divx" If the stereo has Divx, that means that it runs on a windows based platform, which is what the Tweecer needs.
Has anyone done anything like this before, or does anyone have any thoughts???
1. Is the stereo going to support the USB interface the Tweecer requires?
2. How are you going to load the stereo with the software and the drivers?
Are you going to do all your tuning from inside the truck, or do you want to be able to easily carry the work in and out? Frankly, if it were me I'd look for a cheap used Panasonic Toughbook -- the laptop line of choice for tuning.
