Best chip for V10?

Trying to get some information on chips for a 2004 F250 v10. I don't know a lot about chips, but as far as I know it seems like the SCT chips are the best for a v10? How much horsepower and torque can I expect to gain from one? Also, does using a chip ruin the engine and transmission faster?
If there's any other chips that you think may be better then the SCT ones let me know please, thanks!

What's the computer code on your truck? Should be a sticker on the passenger door. Mine was on the front of the door.

I have a brand new SCT XCal 2 with three custom tunes for sale in the classifieds. I don't know what all codes it will work with, but if it happens to be "SLP3" it would definitely work.

I strongly recommend you contact Mike Butler at 5startuning.com.

Is there anywhere online it'll tell you the computer code? All the stickers on my doors are either worn too bad or there just not there, haha.

Even if it was there (for the 150s it's in the engine compartment) this is only the box code, not the full calibration/hex code (again for the 150s).

Autozone or NAPA might have a scanner that can read your hex code.

Why not call Mike and see if he has any ideas?
