2010 F150 Vibration
Great site!! I bought my 2010 F150 in October of 2010. With less than 1500 miles on it, developed a very bad vibration around 42mph and up. Took it to the dealer, they checked it out (4 hours waiting time), was advised it was a transmission problem and Ford was aware of it. They were working on a computer fix, but would not be available until after 1-14-2011. Took back to dealer on 1-15-2011, had appointment, they kept my truck for two days. Called me and said computer fix was not for my truck. No other explanation. To make a long story short, the drive shaft, ring and pinion gear, carrier , and trans mission have been replaced and I still have a vibration. The dealer had my truck for 32 days!!!!I have filed under Kentucky Lemon Law to buyback or replace vehicle.I have had so much trouble with the F150, I do not know if I want another Ford.
Thank you for letting me vent. Any opinion or advice appreciated.

Even when I had a 07 Silverado, it had a vibration issue. In the F150 (2010) it seems worse, but only at speeds between 45-60. Over 60 it stops.
Some say its the tires, some say it needs balancing, some day its the drive shaft, some day its the trans. I dont believe anyone knows what causes it. And all the work folks have had done on their trucks, only to find out it still does it.
I just believe its an inherent trait of these trucks. I have a regular cab and some folks say its because of the short bed and shorter drive axle.
I just live with it. I dont like being without my truck. Mine's not out of balance, not do I believe it to be the tires. Already rotated and balanced them.
Just live with it I say???? I doubt you'll get anywhere with the LEMON LAW on that one
PS. Are these the first issues with your truck? (You stated you'd had "SO MUCH TROUBLE" with it, but you didn't elaborate on your service history).

May not be the same issue or fix, but if there are no other answers, thinking outside the box may lead to other potential culprits.
started doing it after first cold snap and mileage seems to have gone down
was getting around 800km a tank now around 650 i wonder if the cat has any thing to do with it?
