enigne swap
I have a 2000 4.2L ext cab. i want to put a SVT lighting 4.6L supercharged engine in it, i know i will have to change the tranny and rear end but would i have to change my whole computer out or cant i change the engine harnness and will it even fit in the enigne bay?

Yes it will fit.
I know a guy that put a Lightning 5.4 in a 4.2 truck.
You rear will be fine but you might need to have the trany built up some.
The intake is on the opposite sit of a mustang so you would need to work out an air intake to work in you truck.
Use the Cobra engine wire harness and have your current computer custom tuned to run it.
You will probably also need to put a bigger fuel pump in the tank.
