Do you have a meter or test light to put on the fuses? Everything I am finding is not adding up for the symptoms you have unless you have a few blown fuses.
I will recheck the fuses. Also I have a symptom I didn't mention before. The cabin dome light will not activate when the doors are open, but will work manually by setting the dash board brightness to max.
Well it appears to be a door switch issue. I could hear a humming coming from the switch when it was engaged, which was a huge give-away. Took off the switch and removed the housing. It has some white stuff reminiscent or mold (but not actually mold, more like oxidation from a short) around the solder where the wiring harness feeds into the prongs. I am hoping this is the culprit.
Now it is time to buy the part from Ed. I think this is the right part
