Wonder what kind of timeline your insurance has for direct replacement if they offer something like that? Cause that would be ideal. Have you been going through the truck since its been turned over to wheels side down?
trucks can be replaced people can't, whatever happens with insurance and your next truck as long as you remember your still around and as capable as you were the day before
I don't know what I'll look at next. I still would like a diesel SD. I do not know what the outcome with insurence will be yet so I really cant do much planning. There are a few things that need paid for before another truck comes down the line. Not a fun process, but I walked away and thats the most important thing - no debilitating medical bills.
Wow, sorry to see this Steve. That sucks for the truck, but like everyone else I'm glad you are not seriously injured.
You're going to have some racing rheumatism, but it will pass. Remember, the second day after the injury is worse for the injury. Ibuprofen helps a lot.
I went to get some stuff today and I'm not quite sure what to say... I shouldn't have crawled out and walked away. The way the cab was perched on the hill really did a job on it. It makes you realize how voulnerable we are - life can change in a split second.
Go home tonight, hug your family members, and tell them how much you love them. You never know when you won't be able to.
Theres another shot of the window I crawled through. Note the impression of the steering wheel on the windshield.
Wow...it's quite a bit worse than it looked in the first picture! Looking at the pic of the interior it's kind of a shock to think that I was sitting in that passenger seat three weeks ago...
I'm glad you were alone yesterday, if someone was sitting there it may have been ugly.
But on the bright side it looks like there wasn't too much damage other than the cab. Is the frame straight? It looks like it is!
Glad you are OK! The same thing happened to me and my 2005 PSD. Mine was totalled - doesn't take much nowdays. Insurance treated me well though - can't complain. Hope they do you good also! I do think my current back issues have to do w/ my roll-over, so you might think about getting that checked out if you have any pains - hopefully the insurance company will pay for an MRI.
