EdelBrock or Holley??
I bought a 1405 Edelbrock off ebay. Just My luck, it's in pretty rough shape. it has an electric choke kit put on it, that has been abused pretty badly. the piston rod inside the heater area has been bent and binds up. Also the Air horn gasket was sealed up with a lot of home grade clear silicone that is now though out the whole carb. Freakin genius.
Any way I spent 100 on the used the Edelbrock and need to spend another 100 to fix it up. New choke kit, accelerator pump, gaskets, needle seat
It's going on a 351W with Edelbrock performer cam and Performer intake. also has GT40P heads. C6 Auto.
Should I fix the Edelbrock, or buy a new Holley or even a new Edelbrock? If a Holley, What one?
