Trans kickdown linkage

I have a 78 F-150 4x4 with 400/A-T.It came with Edelbrock performer intake and Holley carb. This spring I put on a new Holley with electric choke.Truck starts and runs much better. It has never had the trans kickdown linkage on it,since I have owned it. . I got one off ebay and installed on the transmission. I hooked it to the carb,but it keeps getting bound up with the other linkage which is not good going down the road. Is there an adaptor linkage I need from Holley ? Do you have any pics of what your using ? Thanks

When I added Holley 4bbl and Weiand intake manifold to my 302 V8 / C4 automatic transmission, I had to add a kick-down lever extension to my kick down rod so it would work correctly. I don't know if it's what you need, but here's a link to what I used (Summit p/n: HLY-20-41):
