I put one of those dual stabilizer kits from Trail Master on the last one I did.

Multiple steering stabilizers are for disguising steering problems. Fix the steering problems and THEN add one stabilizer for controlling the big tire force. If you are converting a high chasis power assist to 771/2 -79 integral power steering gear (and bless you if you go with a high pinion 60 in the conversion) then there are after market drop drag links available. Since you are fabbing your own drag link, get the geometry correct and it should drive real nice. Steering correctness is about correct angles of the steering components. I live in CA and I often wonder how these trucks here with the front end twice as high as the rear-where you can't see over the hood and the headlights don't find the road (CaliLift-Lame)-can even drive these things with the caster out that far. Do a correct job and stay away from multiple stabilizers. They just add force and wear to your steering gear/components. Do it right, once, the first time...

If you're looking for a single, it doesn't matter, it'll just be a couple u-bolts, nuts and backing plates...and put it where you deem necessary. If you're looking for a dual stabilizer vehicle specific kit, order it for the parts you're using...so the 78, but I really think it'll be a generic 'kit', nothing specific about it at all.

As mentioned above though...steering stabilizers are a band aid, fix the root problem.
