Unhappy Need a Hood!!
Hi i have a 1966 ford f250 custom cab with a 352 and the hood flew up and destroyed itself and i cant seem to find a hood anywhere. any help would be nice thanks guys!

I have a spare hood in L.A. that has a few easily fixable dings and no rust.

no problem on shipping,i know it can go truck freight,it may be able to go greyhound but will have to ck sizing though...eddie

The hood is waaay too big to go greydog. It'll prolly cost...at least...3 bills to ship a hood from VA to CA and it should be crated.

Hoods are somewhat easy to find here in SoCal...if one knows where to look. Bobby has chimed in, has one.

FTE member gangstakr lives in Hemet, scrounges yards from the Mexican border to Bakersfield. If anyone knows where one of these hoods is, he does.

C1TZ-16612-Z ~ The hood is the same: 1961/64 F100/750; 1965/66 F100/700; 1961/66 B500/700 (B = School Bus).

And, don't forget the hinges, when the hood flew up, they stretched, now they are only good for decoration.

Shipped my Ebay hood Greyhound from California to Texas for $90. But this was in July 2008, things might have changed. Just don't rule them out before checking if you need them.
