Underhood Pic request
I'm looking to see if someone has a good pic' of the under hood hinge mounting brace. I'm having to rework the hood where the brace is spot welded to the hood and need to know if my positioning on the brace to the hood is correct.

Here is the underside of a legit 1953 F100 hood...if this angle doesn't work for you I have a few more at different angles...

I need the dimensions of that folding bench/rack that's holding up the hood... I need to build one to hold my front flip doghouse to work the inside surface

I didn't buy mine from Eastwood but they are fairly inexpensive from various vendors. I have a few of them around the shop....
Many times I will place a couple of 2x4s across the stands to make a larger support surface.

Amazing paint work as usual Charlie. What paint do you use, it that base/clear coat?

This is the hood I posted in https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...painted-6.html, post #85. Paint is House of Kolor Euro Red base coat applied over KD3004 sealer and finished with USC01 clear coat. Finish was sanded to 2000 grit and buffed/polished.
