early 99 idm question

i need to replace my IDM in my early model 99 ford power stroke i found one for a good price. can anyone tell me if you can put a late 99 IDM in a early 99? the early 99 IDM is a 110 and the late 99 is a 120. any input would be great thanks.

Yep, you can replace it with a late 99-03 7.3 IDM. Can't remember what needs to be done if anything other than just replaceing it.

It's just "plug and play". The higher voltage will give a slightly quicker response time to the inectors. It won't make a drastic difference in performance, but is considered an upgrade. I have run a 140v modded, a stock 120v, and used a 110v as a spare while waiting for a replacement. I currently run a reman 120v IDM.
