Regen 6.4
If the display shows cleaning exhaust filter for 2 sec and then goes away is it still cleaning the exhaust filter, and then about every 4000 km the display shows drive to clean exhaust filter while I'm driving on the high way it says on for 5 min then it will display cleaning exhaust filter till it is done, is this normal

What you are seeing is normal.
the drive to clean means that it really needs to finish because it is completely full of soot.
A normal cleaning of the exhaust may just flash accross the screen and then is hidden. Pitfall of this is you don't know when it is done. Because of this I suspect that it is not completely finishing often enough that is is giving you the mandatory drive to clean.
If you have the message center you can hit the center buttom..setup and then the top botton..reset. The screen will display and number of things. Last message will briefly indicate whether it is still cleaning the exhaust. So if you are wondering..do that.
My regens are usually around 10 miles. So that is another way to know about when you are done. Check you miles when it starts and then if you can determine how many miles.

There are no mods and have had it in to ford to check the pcm and it is up to date, right now i am driving 400 km a day and when the cleaning of the exhaust flash in the screen and then is gone, I have tried the message center then reset and it does not show cleaning of the exhaust filter, i have also have problems with power loss which i had in to ford and all they did was pulled fuse 37 or 36 it's the pcm fuse, to reset the computer,
