Prayers for PartsguyEd.

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...tsguyed-2.html

Above is a link to another thread. thought I would post here as well if it is ok with the mods.

It appears that Ed has had a stroke. Not many details right now.

If anyone has ordered anything just be patient. I don't know if anyone else is helping out right now.

Ed is a long time site sponsor, event sponsor and many have been lucky enough to meet him in person.

The last thing Ed needs in this situation is added stress. If you see threads in this forum or others about him not being available, please help him out by posting up whats going on.

I will update you as relevant information becomes available.

Here's an update on Ed:

UPDATE: They have moved him to a less critical unit of the ICU and are going to try and move him to his own room later today. He is able to say a couple more words this morning, but is pretty grumpy and frustrated which is understandable. Please keep him in your thoughts as you go through your day.

Well I talked to his daughter this morning and she said he is doing better. She was able to carry on a conversation with him and he was able to talk on the phone a little. Sounds like he is getting better fast. Keep the prayers up guys.

I suppose they got to him in time to give him that medicine. Not sure what it is but supposely if they give it to you in the first 2 hours it is like a magic.

This great news.

That is a good sign. Yes, there are clot-busting drugs that work just as well in the brain as in the heart. If it had to be a stroke, an occlusive(clot) stroke is the better kind(if there is such a thing). As Senix said, if caught early enough, most stroke symptoms can be reversed. It's more like a 'miracle' to watch them work. Continuing prayers!

One of the other threads indicates that they may let me go home in a few days. They are doing rehab with him now.

Seems like they caught it time for him to bounce back. Hope that is certainly the case.
