There are a couple of factory gromets that you can poke a small hole in to run a few wires , i just used a uni bit , and drilled though the fire wall , any size you need then use a rubber push in gromet , then when your done you can fill the rest of the hole with silicone....Lew

Accumeter has various sizes of grommets that fit thru a drilled hole in firewall. If nothing else, use one of those shock absorber grommets that go at the top of the shock. Will need to drill a 1/2 " hole, which is kinda large. That's why i mentioned smaller grommets like from Accumeter.

If you want you can simple drill the hole and silicone it up once you get the wire in. Done it so many times I lost count and never had an issue. Siliconing both sides is best too.

I drilled a hole in the metal filler plate the is just behind the driver side of the engine. I thought that way it can be replaced if I ever don't want the holes. Definitely use a grommet.

Did the same. Its replaceable it you ever want to undo or redo it. Get a pack of grommets off Amazon.
