that is the top of mt baldy it was a really cool view you could see priest lake in idaho and it was atleast 15 miles as the crow flys driving wise probably 80 lol

not sure where philmont is but i was in washington looking into idaho in the pic on a clear day you can see across idaho into montana

oh gotcha philmont is a huge hike trail with base camp in New Mexico for the Boy Scouts. It has 2 main trail in it. One is 50 miles and the other is 80 miles long with stops on the way for activities like shooting, fishing, branding and other such activities. The main mountain that you climb is Mount Baldy and scenery looks a lot like that, i thought thats where you might have been
