Oh yah, about the avatar thing - well mine is pretty reasonably explained, my middle name is Archangel (thank you grandma, lol), in one of my favorite animes there is a badass battlecruiser by that name, its designation is LCAM-01XA (there is also an LCAM-02XA, the Dominion, that's the bad guys ship), and the captain is the chick in my avatar. Izumi's avatar, well hell if I know, ain't nothing that I've seen in any anime...

Personally, I enjoy: Full Metal Alchemist, Full Metal Panic, Gunslinger Girl, Shin Chan, Last Exile, Eden of the East, Afro Samurai, GTO, and Ikki Tousen.
All of the above have logical plots I can follow and are very entertaining.

Here's another one I got
They took this picture when my guard was down!
I got the fun of going 20 foot up in a cherry picker to hang a sign on a water pipe (what else are water pipes for?)
Didn't help though that there were people at the bottom shaking the cherry picker the whole time.

I'm usually the guy behind the camera so not too many exist of me haha I like it that way though!
Here's one from a while back when I was melting some aluminum to cast a custom intake manifold to attach some Dellorto DHLA 40 carbs to a 1.5L MG Midget engine.

FIRE IS FUN! Yes that's a modified garbage can, and yes I'm doing it inside, and yes I'm sticking my hand into the flames with nothing but a welding glove and an old leather jacket. I believe I'm supposed to say "I'm a trained professional. Don't do this" here
And me and my wife. Yup, they let me have a pilots license
Oh and my username? Back in about 1996 I needed to pick a chat handle on IRC. I had a nike hat next to the computer (swoosh from the nike swoosh) and cmk being my initials. Not too creative I guess!
