Your F-450 has 10 lug x 7.25" bolt circle. I've got tons of listings for it, only in 16", but none tell me the center hole size. They are hub piloted as you probably know. Chevy used a 19.5" x 6" that has a 5.25" center hole, but none of the cross references connect that wheel to Ford. It appears nobody else used that bolt pattern.

Ah ha!! The below Rickson chart provides the reason why. The Ford center hole is 5.46". The Chevy wheel won't clear the Ford hub. So your best answer is to go to somebody like Rickson. Here's their chart showing a variety of 19.5s for the 1997 and earlier F-450s. Stu

Stu,

I went to the Rickson site, now they say they make custom wheels for "CUSTOM & OBSOLETE REPLACEMENT WHEELS FOR
ANTIQUE, RESTORATION AND RETRO-STYLED VEHICLES
", do you know if they're making wheels for our larger trucks now? I know when I talked to the owner a few years back he didn't know about our trucks and the WMs so I enlightened him on the problem. At the time he said it was very unlikely they build them unless there was a great demand for them.

Bob - Back when we were chasing the group purchase I called Dan Richter. I talked to his Secretary and explained who I was and what I was about. She took my name and number, but I never got a call back. I wasn't impressed. It wasn't long after that I visited American Wheel Specialist and learned that they have new wheels available at the same cost we'd been told Rickson would charge the group. So it made no sense to pursue a group purchase when a similar product and price could be had for one wheel or a hundred.

Keep in mind that we were aiming exclusively at the 5 lug x 8" bolt circle wheels. The Rickson wheel would have looked a little different than our old wheels just as the AWS wheel looks different. No doubt these new wheels are designed to clear disc brake calipers and, for that reason, have a wider wheel face. A Rickson custom wheel option would, though, be helpful to our members that are dealing with the 6 lug x 7.25" wheels. Having one more vendor option can't hurt. Stu
