Here's two recent discussions about them over on the 48-56 page with postings by a member that's found a good military surplus source. Good luck finding a few, they are very sought after. I've got one and am waiting for the guy to finally part out the Dodge it came from. Stu
Does anyone know were I can find at least two 19.5 SRW eight lug X 6.5 rims?
Ill be going to the Portland swap meet next month Ill keep and eye out for you. If I see any I will get the sellers info and pass it along. Im hoping to find 16" innie non split rims myself. If I do Ill have 4 17.5" wheels to sell if you would have an interest.
www.akhwheels.com, guy has two sets of 19.5 wheels. One set is 8x6.5 and the other set is 6x7.25, I talked to him about two weeks ago and he wanted $250.00 ea. plus shipping for the 6x7.25 set. A little steep but not too many of them laying around. Hope this helps.
Ha! I don't think you realize just how rare these wheels are. I've been looking for a set for years, translation, doing the leg work. I have one, and know where the rest of the set is but can't get the guy to finish parting the donor truck out. Coming on a site like this and expecting somebody to hand over a set of these in short order is being sorta unrealistic. Just my 2 cents. Stu
I found two Chevy bread trucks near me that has them on them plus two spares. The bread company is planning on restoring them some day and want even sell the two spares. Just up the road from there is a 59 F350 SRW with a 9 ft express bed with 19.5 six lugs. He want sell any off from it either. I think my best bet is going the Chevy rim route.
