Dizzy questions.

What do yall think would be the best dist. a Duraspark system or get a older points with a peroixtronics conversion?

The motor is a 79 302 that will be going in to a 72 f-100. I am use to the Points systems and its conversion but I haven't dealt with the duraspark system on the motor it self. What are the pros/cons of both systems?

Electronic ignition never needs to be re-adjusted.

The perxtronics system doesn't need to be adjusted, I wouldn't use the points I would converte it over.

do you have a distributor already? If you have a points dist I would probably convert to electronic but if you dont have anything yet I'd go to the JY and get a duraspark setup

The motor I have already has a duraspark set-up but I all so have a points dizzy on another motor I'm about to pull. The 302 is going into a 72 f-100 and I am trying to clean up the engine bay the best I can so it look orginal.

I know the duraspark has that retarding start built into it but everybody I know has had problems with this system. I have exp. with the points conversion and like it but I want others opinions of both before I decide on which.
