I've seen reference to a MAF in the 6.7 pdf. That said, you're not the only one that's had an issue with the intake and snow:

That appears to be the fix on the 6.4 trucks - mine has packed up a few times. I dont like the cover so I dont put it on. I am not sure if its the same fix for the 2011 trucks.

Never ever had a problem with mine. Been in some pretty nasty white outs and 4-5' snow.

Do think that is the best fix in this situation though.

I have the winter front on it but it does find its way in there. The MAF even had snow dust in it which prevented it from allowing the truck any rpm's.

So in the fender well is where is gets it air from? In other words if you go thru mud or whatever it will get sucked up?

Time for a mod. then to redirect it under the hood.

I thought the 6.4's had a TSB to install a "rain hat" or something along the lines for this happening?

Off topic a bit but, does anybody know if this is an issue with the 2011 F350 diesels? I can't avoid snow here - will get something done at the dealer when I pick mine up soon, if I need to. We get a lot of powder snow here...
