snow in air filter

has any one found a air filter full of snow ??? I was driving through about 12 - 16 inches of snow for about 4 miles and my truck lost all power .i managed to make it home and inspected the air cleaner and found it to be full of snow and ice.. is there a fix for this problem??

Ford OEM grille cover may help. Some of the 6.4 owners got one under warranty when snow got in theirs.

same problem here but noticed the filter guage in the red and looked into it. Full of snow and ice and had to replace the air filter. I did get 30 K out of it though.

if u change the the stock to a AFE it comes with a whole new box and all or thats how it was on my 6.0 didnt have a tube up there in the grill if that makes since
