Just FYI, there is a difference between a "tuner" and a "chip". Most would recommend staying away from tuner. (edge, superchips, etc...) and spending it on a "chip". More bang for the buck and can be custom tuned by the vendor to meet your needs. DP-Tuner, Tony Wildman, PHP, just to name a few. Check out the forum sponsors for some options.
I was looking into a DP Tuner. I have noticed in your signature a 140v idm and the HPX. What are these and is it something i can do myself. Thanks Sean

DP sounds good. IIRC the 140v IDM allows the the injectors to open faster and stay open longer. It is something you can do yourself, If you're comfortable soldering. It involves opening the IDM and swapping out a resistor. I did not do this mod myself, as my IDM was crapping out (full of water) and bought an already modded IDM for $400ish.
The HPX line allows high pressure oil to have a equal (or more equalish) flow to both oil galleys (Pictured below). This allows the ICP (Injection Control Pressure) to pick up a more accurate pressure reading. Can get them HERE. $55 shipped. JUST be sure you scroll down to the "OBS" line, will say 94-97 powerstroke on it, the others won't work
Just as a note, these mods don't add power, per say, but are good supporting mods to other things. The first 3 things to do are Intake, Exhaust and gauges before anything else

]Turbocharger - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[/url] If the pressure rises high enough, a compressor stall will occur, where the stored pressurized air decompresses backwards across the impeller and out the inlet.
Axi-symmetric stall, more commonly known as compressor surge; or pressure surge, is a complete breakdown in compression resulting in a reversal of flow and the violent expulsion of previously compressed air out through the engine intake, due to the compressor's inability to continue working against the already-compressed air behind it.
I'm not going to argue with you over this... its pointless because you already know everything there is to know about everything. But your explanation was a FAR WORSE explanation than my horrible explanation.
little early for a beer but hey i dont have any classes todaylol. i like that HPX oil line that things kinda cool. what benefits have u seen with it?
Benefits: a 'bit' smoother idle and a 'little' quieter in the cab. That's about it.
OT: It's 3pm on the east coast, so only another 2 hours at work till beer-o-clock.Of course I still have an hour drive home... no road soda's for me that will get you in trouble real quick around here...
