140V Mod Resistors
Got my resistors in the mail today from Digikey. They look quite a bit smaller than the ones I saw in pictures on here. Just wondering if I ordered the right ones, I have to 100V IDM, I ordered the 75K Ohm 1/2 watt 100% tolerance. Just wondered why they looked so small. Thanks

In the electronics world. size doesn't always matter. =)
I have 75k ohm metal film 50w 1% tolerance here.
Thats what the package says.
I think it means half watt though. Duno why its printed like that.
oh, i look with magnifying glass, it has period. haha. .50watt

Some of them are the bigger size, some are smaller. Mine was done with a larger size one. They'll work the same. Just be careful soldering and make sure it's secured with some hot glue or silicone to keep the resistor from vibrating.
