another quick intake question

another quick intake question

I found a offey 360 4bbl intake used,the only "problem" is some one converted it to a "c" style by grinding out the 4 hole carb mount to one big opening. Is this going to pose any issues in power or drivability? thanks chris

Grinding out the 4 hole feature of an Offy DP does not make it an Offy C. I would pass on this profound bit of re-engineering.

I know it is not a offey"c", it does not have the split runners like a 360 does. I just don't know enough about intakes to know what to look at,or what different types of intakes offey has made.

If it does not have the dual runners it might be ok...but I would still pass unless it was very cheap.

To me it sounds like someone destroyed it. I wouldn't mess with it. How could it be a 360 without the dual runners?
