I've heard good things about them brands ..But.. I still think Motorcraft brsd-757 rear are better if you are looking to get 60 or 75,000 miles out of them. But if you are a young guy who drives it like you stole it I would go with the hawk or ebc. I did alot of research on pads and found alot of guy doing towing and alot miles out of motorcraft pads. One guy here on this site got 80k out of them. Good enough for me. I am in the middle of doing my front and rear brakes now. If you have 4wd I think it easier than 2wd up front the back there is a tread out there for the hub bearing I'll try to find. SRW or DRW the rest of the job is take apart and put together.
Motorcraft cost alot less than hawk & EBC Use search engine with the part Motorcraft brsd-756/front brsd-757/rear you'll be able to find some good deals. Actually there are some guys here on this site can hook you up.
I just put ebc green stuff front pads on, and shipped to my house they were only 87$.. That's not bad!.. And I do drive like a bad outta hell, and the previous ebc pads lasted around 42,000 miles.. Just my opinion!!

I have the EBC Green Stuff on the front and Yellows on the rear. They stop great when you are an aggressive driver, but tend to glaze when taking it easy. I had to heat them up a few times, not long ago, to rebed them as my braking effect was not a good as when first installed. Actually, they stopped better when pulling my 12k fifth wheel.

Roland, that is funny, I have yellows on the front and greens on the rear. The ebc, hawks, and the oem all do a good job, depends on personal preferences.

You're right. Mark. I did state that incorrectly. Had been a couple yrs ago since they were installed. Since I rebed the pads with higher heat cycles, they have performed better. I did have a "feel" like the rotors were warped, but went away afterwards.
I just ordered the EBC yellow stuff for front and back. SHould be here Tuesday. I plan to replace rear rotors and have front checked to see if they can be turned.
I read through many threads and it seemed no one had anything bad to say about Motorcraft or EBC.
I made 100,000 miles on the original brake pads on my F550 and they still weren't all the way worn out.
Could have gone farther, but had a trip planned and wanted to make sure no problems on the trip.
OEM brake pads went back in.
