trans question
Well i have a trans question, i just recently updated my truck to a 2000 f250 cc long bed 4x4, had 4x2 ext long bed. i have noticed that first thing every morning when the trans shifts into 2 gear i feels like it slips and then the truck lunges, after it does that one time it will never do it again until next morning , I have checked the fluid level and looks ok and had it flushed recently but it did not have a burned smell. just a littl e worried thanks

1 Thing to check after the truck has been setting for 6-8 hours and some what cool, pull the transmission dip stick and check the oil level, (engine not running ). Make a note of the level. Then after it has sat overnight check the transmission level again, and compare it to the level of the first check. If the level is higher after it sat overnight it could be the touque converter is leaking back into the transmission., so when you start it up in the morning the torque converter has to filled up before the trans goes into gear.
